minutes later we arrived at Lukla, 9400ft/2850m on April 5
via Yeti Air. ....................................... The flight was quite memorable...a quick ascent to 13,000ft in an unpressurized cabin. I'm sure Danielle won't forget that flight (or maybe she wants to forget it) |

The trek started with an easy 3 hr, mostly downhill trek from Lukla to Phakding | |

Here was our
first campsite, at Phakding, 8700ft/2650m. It was an easy 3 hour hike from Lukla, mostly downhill. The huge World Expedition group snagged the site we wanted (bottom left). |
