A sad day at our camp at Dughla as the group split into 2. ......................................................... Joe, Ron, Melissa and John head off to summit Island Peak 20,252ft / 6173m)(which they did successfully!!) and the rest of us descended to Pangboche via Pheriche. photo courtesy of Monika Roschlaub |

You're never far from a Yak train when you use a main trail in the Khumbu. Just don't stand on the other side or you may find yourself tumbling down the mountain; trekkers have died as a result of Yak bumps |
