Solar del Bosque refugio

Ralf giving his thumbs up to the accomodations (he's easy to please). We all slept in a dormitory room with bunkbeds. 12 to a room the first night and then we were joined the 2nd night by Anna and Jose who had just flown in from visiting Peninsula Valdes.

On this day we drove back into town and did a half day hike up to Glaciar Martial

A political statement back in town

Av. San Martin, the main street in Ushuaia. Our hotel was just off this street which was very convenient, in contrast to the location of our hotel in El Calafate. Meera and Ashok were bored when they first arrived in Usuhaia so they took the double decker (right hand side of the picture) bus tour of the city. And here I bumped into the ubiquitous Belgians again!
